Send content from Streams to Parliament

As an Parliament admin, you can send content from Streams to Parliament. This makes it easy to share existing content quickly.

This option is not available for TikTok streams.

Audience: Parliament admins

If you haven't used Streams in Hootsuite, follow these steps to get started.

Connect a social account to Hootsuite.
Add streams.
Have Content Admin or Publisher permissions.
When you find a post you want to share or repost to Parliament, select More options , and then select Send to Parliament.
Select a post type from the following options:
- Regular post - Create a post for your Parliament members to share to their social networks.
- Featured post - Pin the post to the top of your member's Parliament view and mark it as a featured post. The post will stay pinned to the top until the member sees it.
- Internal announcement - Share this post in Parliament whenever you need to make an internal announcement. Members cannot share these posts.
For LinkedIn posts, you can specify whether advocates can add their own comments to the post when re-sharing in Parliament. Check the Allow reposting with comments box to turn this option on. Otherwise, advocates will only be allowed to repost the content on LinkedIn.
Select which social networks members can share the post to and create your post. See Create content for Parliament.
When you're done creating your post, select from the following options:
- Post now - Send your post to Parliament.
- Schedule for later - Save time by creating multiple posts and then scheduling when you want them available for members to share.
- Save as Parliament draft - Not quite ready to post? Save your content as a draft so you can come back to it later.
- Post and duplicate - Publish the post to Parliament and retain its content to create a new, similar post with a unique post ID.

Select a post type from the following options:
- Regular post - Create a post for your Amplify members to share to their social networks.

- Internal announcement - Share this post in Amplify whenever you need to make an internal announcement. Members cannot share these posts.
