Create posts with Wisdom

You can use Wisdom (formerly OwlyGPT) to create, refine, and optimize your posts right in the Hootsuite composer. Ask Wisdom for content ideas, for help drafting social posts, or for suggestions to optimize posts you’ve already written.

This article describes the new Social OS experience. If you haven't switched yet, select the Classic tab for instructions. Learn more about the Social OS experience.

The Wisdom detects the social accounts you’ve selected and uses what’s already in the Composer window to personalize its responses. (Note, however, that brand voice personalization is not available for Bluesky accounts.)

You can hide Wisdom without losing your conversation history for the current session. Select Wisdom to close the side panel.

Create a post with Wisdom

Go to Perch, then select Calendar to start and schedule your post in a calendar view, or select Create a post.
Select the social accounts you want to post to, and enter content for your post.
Select one of the predefined prompts in the side panel to have Wisdom suggest further refinements, or enter your own prompt. Wisdom suggests enhancements based on the active account tab (for example, Instagram).
Tip: Wisdomcan analyze up to three images in a post. If you want to refer to a specific image, you can reference the object in the image, or reference the file name so that Wisdom knows which image to focus on.
(Optional) If you want to use Wisdom’s suggestion, select Insert to insert it directly into the Composer window or Copy to copy it to your clipboard.
Tip: If you want suggestions tailored to the brand voice of each selected account, just ask! Wisdom answers with separate Insert options for each specified social platform.
(Optional) Ask follow-up questions to adjust the tone, length, or structure of your post.
When you’re satisfied with your post, schedule or publish as usual.

Go to Create.

Note: Wisdom doesn't keep a chat history, and your conversation is only available for the current session in Create. However, if you want to start a new conversation with Wisdom in the current session, select Clear chat history to clear the current conversation.
