Introducing the Hootsuite Social OS

On June 24, 2026, Hootsuite becomes Social OS: a suite of purpose-built apps, each focused on a specific area of your social media workflow, connected by a single consistent navigation experience.

This evolution is designed to give your team a clearer, faster path to the tools and intelligence you need. Rather than navigating a single all-in-one product, you'll work in focused apps built for specific jobs, with a shared AI layer that connects them and surfaces the right information at the right time.

A suite built for the way you work

Here's a closer look at what each product does and where your existing workflows fit in.

Perch, your content hub

Perch is where you'll plan, create, and publish content. Everything you do today in Plan, Create, and Ads moves here, including your social calendar, approval workflows, and content library. AI-generated post ideas, captions, and hashtag suggestions are built in to help you move faster.

Nest, your social inbox

Nest brings all your customer messages into one place. Your existing Inbox experience moves here, along with tools to gauge sentiment, prioritize conversations, and respond using saved replies or generative AI.

Lumen, your social intelligence engine

Lumen is your social intelligence hub. Your Listening workflows move here. Lumen monitors brand mentions, tracks sentiment across more than 150 million sources in 187 languages, and surfaces competitive insights and emerging trends in real time.

Parliament, your employee advocacy platform

Parliament is where employee advocacy lives. If you use Amplify today, this is where you'll find it.

Wisdom, your AI workspace

Wisdom is the AI layer that connects the whole suite. You can ask Wisdom questions in plain language, get answers grounded in your connected accounts and content, and take action without switching between tools. Wisdom builds on the same underlying capabilities you have access to today through OwlyGPT.

Tip: We're retiring the Hootsuite homepage in Social OS. When you log in, you'll land directly on the last page or product you visited, so you can pick up right where you left off.

Same functionality, new home

Every feature from your current Hootsuite experience has a home in Social OS. Here's how things map across the update:

Social OS also introduces MCP connectors for Perch, Nest, and Lumen, so you can schedule posts, pull analytics, and manage your inbox directly from AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT, without building a custom integration.

Your social accounts, content, and team permissions will all carry over automatically when Social OS launches on June 24. What happens next depends on how your organization uses Hootsuite:

Note: The toggle to switch back to classic Hootsuite is available until September 30, 2026. Once your organization switches to Social OS, you cannot revert to classic Hootsuite.
