Get started with your Enterprise plan

With a Hootsuite Enterprise plan, you can enable team collaboration, streamline workflows, and efficiently manage your social accounts with team members or clients. Your plan also allows you to do the following:

• Assign messages to teams for consistent messaging handling. For example, you may want to route certain messages to your PR or crisis management team.
• Share feeds of content (streams) from your connected social accounts so your team members can monitor the same content.
• Delegate tasks to team members and save time by sharing the workload.

Plans: Enterprise.
Standard, Team, and Advanced plan members, see Get started with your Standard, Team, or Advanced plan.

Get started as a new Enterprise customer

As a new Hootsuite customer, you'll have access to the Get started guide. This guide will walk you through the steps to create your organization, add members and teams, and set permissions. When adding members and teams using the guide, you can upload a CSV of up to 500 members at a time (see Add members in bulk). To access the guide as a new customer, go to Help (you may have to expand the options on the left to find it), and then select Get started.

Access your organization

A Hootsuite organization consists of individuals, teams, and shared social accounts. Your Hootsuite customer account manager may have created a Hootsuite organization for you or you may have created one during onboarding. The person who onboards or creates an organization is the Super Admin for that organization. They have the highest level of permissions and can grant others those permissions.

You must be an organization Super Admin or Admin to set up your organization. You'll invite members to your organization, create teams of members to manage specific tasks, and set permissions to control access to social accounts and features.

Go to Account, and then select Social accounts and teams to access your organization. From here you can do the following:

• Create, edit, or delete a team
• Add a member to an organization or team
• Manage your organization's social accounts

You can create and edit your teams, team members, and social account information at any time.

Collaborate with your team members

If you are a Super Admin or Admin for your organization, use the following step-by step instructions to set up some of the most common organization-specific tasks.

Restrict a member's access to specific social accounts

You can set permissions to restrict which social accounts a team member can see or manage.

1. Select Account, and then select Social accounts and teams.
2. Select Social accounts in the navigation pane.
3. Choose a social account from the list, select More (in the Actions column), and then select View social account details.

4. On the social account details page, select the Members tab.
5. Select the permissions for each member from the list in the Permissions column. Learn more about social account permissions.

Tip: Assign Limited, Responder, or the custom Publish Message with Approval social network permission to require a member to have their posts approved before they can be published.

Set up a team to approve posts

Set up a team of approvers so that if someone isn't available to approve content, someone else can step in.

1. Go to Account, and then select Social accounts and teams.
2. Select Teams in the navigation pane, and then select Create Team.
3. Enter a team name, select the members that you'd like to approve posts, and then select which social accounts the team will have access to.
4. Select Create team.

Set up an approval workflow for your social accounts

Now that you have your approval team in place, you can set up an approval workflow on your social accounts

1. Select Social accounts in the navigation pane.
2. Choose a social account from the list, select More (in the Actions column), and then select View social account details.

3. On the social account details page, select More, and then select Edit settings.

4. In the Custom Approvals section, select Settings,
5. In the 1st approver search box, select the approval team you created.
6. (Optional) Select Add approval, and then add another member or team if you want to add another tier of approval for extra security. You can also specify an approval order:
   • Sequential - Approvers review the post one at a time, in the order they were added. Each approver must approve before the post moves to the next.
   • Parallel - All approvers receive the request at the same time and can approve in any order. The post publishes only after every approver has approved it.
7. Select Save.

Note: Team members can request approval from other team members when creating a post. If a team member requests approval from someone who is a designated approver in your custom approval flow, Hootsuite will skip the approver the second time, to avoid duplicate reviews. However, the skipped review will not be reflected in the approval history.
