Comment and reply in Instagram streams

You can comment on or reply to posts in My Posts streams if you have an Instagram Business profile that’s connected to a Facebook Page (see Connect an Instagram account).

When using the Hootsuite mobile app, you can only Reply to Instagram posts.

Comment on a post

  1. Go to More, select Streams, and then select the board hosting the stream.
  2. In the Write a comment box below the post, enter a comment, and then select ENTER.

Reply to a comment

To reply to a comment, do either of the following:

  • Enter a reply in the Write a reply box below the comment, and then select ENTER.
  • Select More options next to the comment, select Reply, enter your reply, and then select ENTER.

Hide or delete a comment or reply

Instagram Business profiles that are fully authenticated with Facebook can hide or delete comments on their posts in the My Posts stream. For more information on authentication, see Connect an Instagram account.

  • Select More options below the comment or reply, and then select Hide or Delete.

Hidden comments appear faded in the stream.
