Create a Topic Insights report in Analytics

If you want to capture the results of a Topic Insights search in Lumen, you can create a report with your search results in Hootsuite Analytics. The report contains all of your search result metrics, and you can export the data to share with other team members.

If you want to combine Lumen data with other Hootsuite Analytics metrics, you can create a custom report and choose the metrics you want to include. Learn how to create a report in Analytics.

Go to Lumen, and then select Topic Insights.
Select a topic to view its search results.
Optionally, apply filters to refine your results to capture the data that is most relevant to you.
Select Build Report, and then select Build New Report in Hootsuite Analytics from the list.
Select Continue. Hootsuite redirects you to Hootsuite Analytics to build your Lumen report.
In the Add a new report window in Analytics, choose the pre-built template (Topic insights), and then select Create report.

Go to Listening, then select Topic Insights.
Select a topic to view its search results.
Optionally, apply filters to refine your results to capture the data that is most relevant to you.
Select Build Report, and then select Build New Report in Hootsuite Analytics from the list.
Select Continue. Hootsuite redirects you to Hootsuite Analytics to build your Lumen report.
In the Add a new report window in Analytics, choose the pre-built template (Topic insights), and then select Create report.

Note: Due to compliance requirements, Hootsuite cannot export data from Reddit, LINE, Pinterest, or TikTok. Results from those platforms will be included in the aggregated metrics in the Topic Insights report, but they will not be displayed in the Results table tile.

Tip: You can also export your Topic Insights report. Keep in mind that Powerpoint (PPT) exports do not contain the Results table tile. For exports in CSV and XLS formats, the Results table is limited to 100 results. If you schedule the export in CSV or XLS format, the limit is extended to 10,000 results.
