Customize the metric tiles in a report

Customize the metric tiles in your report to view the data that matters to you. You can also place and size tiles wherever and however you want in your reports to make the data easier to understand.

Go to Analytics, and then open a report to get started (see Open an Analytics report).

Point to a metric tile in an Analytics report and select More info to find out more about any metric. Learn what's included in metric details.

Move a metric tile around

Move the tiles that matter most to the top. Press and hold the top of your tile, and then drag the tile to the new location to reorder tiles however you like.

Resize a tile

Want some tiles to be bigger or smaller? Need more room to display your metrics data? Press and hold the bottom right corner of your tile, and then drag in or out to set the tile size.

Customize your metric tile

Rename a tile, add a compare or sort by metric, or change a visualization. See also Customize metric tile data and Track multiple metrics in a tile.

1. Point to a tile, and then select Configure tile.
   
2. Select Properties, and then make your changes. You can compare results, select a size, and select to display them in a different chart type.

   For example, you can customize a LinkedIn Followers metric to compare data by demographic categories (for example, by industry, seniority, location, and more).
   

3. Select Close when you're done.

Edit metrics in a tile

You can edit the name and settings for any metric in your tile.

1. Select Data, find your metric, and then select Edit metric.
2. Change the metric's name, sources, or filters, and select Apply after each selection.

Delete metrics from a tile

Select Data, find your metric, and then Delete metric .

Change the visualization type

To change the visualization in an Analytics report, do the following:

1. Go to Analytics, and then open a report.
2. Point to a tile in the report, and then select Configure tile.
   
3. Select Properties.
   
4. Select a visualization. If the visualization you want isn’t available, that means that it’s not supported for that metric.
5. Select Close when you're done.
