Add a TikTok Business account

Add a TikTok Business account to Hootsuite to manage it from the same place as your other social media accounts. When you add a TikTok account to Hootsuite, you can schedule and publish videos to it, engage with your audience, create analytics reports, and more.

Super admins, admins, and those with custom organization permissions to Add Social Networks can add social accounts to organizations.

  1. In your TikTok account, select your Profile.
  2. Select the profile menu in the top right, and then select Settings and privacy.

Troubleshoot problems adding a TikTok Business account

Hootsuite is connecting to the wrong TikTok account

Before adding a TikTok profile, open a new web browser tab, and log out of TikTok. Then go back to Hootsuite and proceed. You’ll be able to enter the correct account credentials.

You’re seeing the error: “Couldn’t authorize access”

If after entering your TikTok account credentials and selecting Log in, you see this error, it means you have a Personal TikTok account. Follow the instructions in Before you begin to switch your account to Business so you can manage TikTok along with the rest of your social accounts in Hootsuite.
