Use trending topics to draft a post

You can quickly see what’s trending in social conversations from your Hootsuite dashboard. Hootsuite shows you up to six top trending topics from the past 24 hours, based on a selected area of interest. You can use OwlyWriter AI to create a post based on any trending topic, so you can be part of the conversation on social.

Create a post based on a trending topic

1. Go to your Hootsuite home page to see the topics trending worldwide over the past 24 hours. Hootsuite shows up to six top trending topics for the selected area of interest.
2. Select a different subject area from the Interest list to view a different set of trending topics.
   
3. Use the arrows to scroll through the list of trending topics.
4. Select Create draft post below any topic to have OwlyWriter AI create a unique post for you, based on the topic you selected.
5. In the Create draft post window, review the caption that OwlyWriter AI automatically created for you, and make any changes you want.
6. Select Create post and proceed as usual to publish your post to your social media accounts.
