Add Google Drive assets to your posts

Access your brand’s stored media without leaving Hootsuite. You can browse your Google Drive folders and attach images (GIF, JPEG, or PNG format) or videos (MP4, mov, iOS mov, Android mp4, or MPEG format) directly to your social posts in Hootsuite.

Attach a Google Drive asset to your post.

Go to Perch, then select Calendar to start and schedule your post in a calendar view, or select Create a post.
Select Add mediaand then select Google Drive from the list.
Select your Google account to connect your Google Drive account to Hootsuite.
Select the images and videos you want to add to your post. You can include your own personal files and any files that have been shared with you.
Select Select to add the files to your post.
(Optional) Customize your image. Point to the image thumbnail and select Edit image to crop or add effects, or select Alt to add alternative text for better accessibility. Learn more about editing images in Hootsuite.
(Optional) Customize your video. Point to the video thumbnail and select Edit video to add filters, stickers, and music to it, or select Video settings to upload a custom image. Learn more about editing videos in Hootsuite.
Tip: If you're posting to Facebook, X, Bluesky, or LinkedIn, you can add SRT captions to your videos.
Finish creating your post and publish it, or schedule it for later.

Select Plan to start and schedule your post in a calendar view, or start your post from Create.
