Define your chatbot identities
Make your chatbot your own with identities. Give your chatbot a name and associate it with your company to help introduce it to your customers. Use following instructions to create your chatbot's identity and associate it with your company.

Create a chatbot identity
Give your chatbot a name it can use to introduce itself to your customers. You can assign a single identity to multiple chatbots.
- Go to Inbox 2.0 , and then select Admin settings.
- Select Generative AI chatbot.
- Select Create identity. If you've already created an identity, select Manage identities, and then select Create identity.
- Enter the following information, and then select Save.
- Internal name - The name that you and your administrators use to identify your chatbot. It is not shown to customers.
- Chatbot name - Your chatbot's name. Your chatbot will use this name to introduce itself to your customers.
- Description (optional) - Provide any internal information you want your administrators to know about your chatbot. This is not shown to customers.
Create a company identity
Provide your chatbot with company identity to introduce it to your customers. Like with the chatbot identity, you can assign a single identity to multiple bots.
- In Generative AI chatbot (Inbox 2.0, Admin settings), select Create company. If you've already created a chatbot company identity, select Manage company identities, and then select Create company.
- Enter the following information, and then select Save.
- Internal name - The company name that you and your administrators use to identify your chatbot. It is not shown to customers.
- Company name - The company the chatbot is associated with. During an introduction, your chatbot will let your customers know this is the who they work for.
- Description (optional) - Provide any internal company information you want your administrators to know about your chatbot. This is not shown to customers.
