Filter results and customize widgets
Use filters to narrow your results and zero in on the data that is most important to you. When you select a new time frame and apply filters, Listening updates your results in real-time.
You can filter results by keyword, sentiment, media type, country or region, language, and demographics.
Apply filters to your results
You can apply filters to Quick Search results or Topic Insights.
- On the Quick Search results or Topic Insights page, select Filters.
- In the Filters panel, apply filters to your results. Use the arrow
to expand or collapse each filter category.
- Text: Enter one or more keywords to further narrow down your results. You can also include Boolean operators.
- Sentiment: Select one or more sentiments (positive, neutral, negative, or important) from the list.
- Media types: Select one or more platforms from the list.
- Countries/Regions: Select one or more regions from the list. You can also select a subset of countries for a specific region.
- Languages: Select one or more languages from the list.
-
Demographics: Select one or more demographic categories from the list. Each category has a subset of demographic attributes that you can select to further narrow your results.
Note: Demographics filters are not available with Listening Basics.
As you apply filters, Listening updates the results in real-time and the Filters icon displays a badge to indicate the number of filters applied.
- Optionally, select a different timeframe for your results. You can select one of the preset timeframe options, or use the calendar to select a specific date range.
- To remove your filters, select Filters to open the Filters panel, then select Clear all.
Customize result widgets
You can customize the layout of the widgets in your results to display the information in a way that’s most relevant to you. Available layout options depend on the individual widget.
- Point to the widget you want to change and select Layout
to change the display of data.
- Optionally, select Fullscreen
to open the widget in a pop-out window.
