Save and edit drafts

You can save draft content at any time, to polish and publish later. A draft post with no social account selected is only visible to its author. Drafts created for shared social accounts are collaborative - team members with access to those accounts can see and edit drafts, and see who created them and when.

Save a draft

There is no limit to the number of drafts you can create. Images in drafts expire after 90 days to ensure image quality at publishing time. When you try to publish a draft with an expired image, you're prompted to upload it again.

View and manage your drafts

Use the graph at the top of the page to see how many drafts you have scheduled by date. Point to an indicator in the graph for additional information. You can also hide the graph to save space.

Select Filters to see content by social account, post status, and if your plan allows, by campaign (read about managing content campaigns).

Point to a draft in the list to take one of the following actions on it:

• Edit - Edit or reschedule your draft, or schedule or publish it as a post.
• Delete - Delete the draft.
• More actions - Create a duplicate of the draft so you can build a new post off the original.
  
  Tips:

  • It's best practice to make edits to duplicate posts so they are unique. Social networks have strict publishing rules and often flag identical content as spam, especially if it’s published within a short period.
  • Tracking parameters on links also get duplicated, unless they are dynamic, so make sure to update these when duplicating posts.
