Leave an organization

If a change in your Hootsuite organization means you have to leave it, you can do that at any time. There are a couple of specific things Admins, Super Admins, and account owners must do before they can leave a Hootsuite organization:

• If you are an Admin or Super Admin, you must set your permissions to Default before you can leave.
• If you are the account owner who created the organization, you must transfer ownership before you can leave. Learn how to transfer Hootsuite account ownership.

When you leave an organization, you lose access to its social accounts. You also lose access to inherited plan features.

1. Go to Account, and then select Social accounts and teams.
2. Select Settings next to the organization, and then select Leave organization.
