Track your campaign performance

Associate posts with campaigns to track the performance of your campaigns on social media. Associating posts with campaigns populates attributes (for example, predefined tags) for each post. You can then create and filter Analytics reports or specific metrics by tag and campaign. Learn how to manage tags.

Plans: Advanced, Business, and Enterprise

Filter a report by tag or campaign

Find data specific to a tag or campaign with filters.

  1. Go to Analytics and open a report. Learn how to open a report.
  2. Select Manage filters. We’ll show different social network options based on the metrics you're tracking in your report.
  3. Select one or more tags from the list for each social network, and then select Apply.
  4. Select one or more campaigns from the list, and then select Apply.

To view the active filters applied to your report, select Show filters.

Filter a metric tile by tag and campaign

You can only filter post-level metrics by tag or campaign. Post-level metrics begin with 'Post' in their name, like 'Post likes' or 'Posts table'.

  1. In your report, point to a tile, and then select Configure tile .
Analytics tile with configure button highlighted.
  2. Select Data, expand the social network, select one or more tags and campaigns from each list, and then select Apply.
Configure tile window with data tab selected showing filter options.

Notes:

  • Filters applied to a metric tile will override those applied to a report.
  • Filtering X/TwitterPost replies and Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn Post comments by tag and campaign displays the number of replies and comments on the posts associated with that tag or campaign.

Metrics on posts published in the last 31 days will continue to update as you work. You can find Post metrics data for dates as early as January 1, 2018.
