Mute someone on X

Mute an X/Twitter user to hide their posts from your stream feeds without unfollowing them. Muted users won’t know you’ve muted them.

Mute someone

1. Go to More, select Streams, and then go to an X/Twitter stream.
2. Select the account name or avatar to open the user's profile page.
3. Select More from the top of the profile page, select Mute, and then select OK.
