Sign in or out of Hootsuite
Hootsuite offers a number of sign-in options to make access easy for you. You can sign in using any one of the following options:
- The email address and password associated with your Hootsuite account.
- Single sign-on credentials connected to your Hootsuite account.
- Social sign-in (Facebook, Twitter, Google, or Apple) credentials for a personal social account that you have already added to Hootsuite.
Note: Business and Enterprise plan admins of a Hootsuite organization may choose to disable social sign-in options.

Sign in to Hootsuite
- Visit hootsuite.com, and then select Log In.
- Select from one of the following options:
- Email and password - Enter your email address and password, and then select Sign in.
- Single sign-on (SSO) - If you have single sign-on (SSO) credentials connected to your Hootsuite account, select Single sign on, and then enter the email address associated with your SSO account. Learn how to set up SSO for your organization.
- Facebook - Select Use Social Sign In, select Sign in with Facebook, enter your Facebook log in information, and then select Log In. The first time you sign in with a connected Facebook account, you're prompted to enter your Hootsuite account email and password to authorize the social sign-in as an authentication method.
- Twitter - Select Use Social Sign In, select Sign in with Twitter, enter your Twitter log in information, and then select Authorize app. The first time you sign in with a connected Twitter account, you're prompted to enter your Hootsuite account email and password to authorize the social sign-in as an authentication method.
- Google - Select Use Social Sign In, select Sign in with Google, and then enter your Google log in information.
- Apple - Select Use Social Sign In, select Sign in with Apple, and then enter your Apple ID to sign in to your Hootsuite account.
- Select the Hootsuite app.
- Select Get started.
- Select a sign-in method:
- Enter your email address, select Continue, enter your password, and then select Log in.
- If you already have a Google, Facebook, Twitter, or Apple account connected to your Hootsuite account, sign in using those credentials.
- Single sign-on (If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), this method must be selected to sign in to the app.)
Sign out of Hootsuite
Select Account, and then select Sign out.
Important: Signing out of the Hootsuite app will turn off any push notifications you have enabled. You'll need to turn them back on the next time you sign in. See Manage Hootsuite mobile notifications.
- Select your profile picture

- Select the Settings tab.
- Select Sign out.
- Select Sign out again to confirm.
