About login verification
You may be asked to enter a confirmation code to verify your login in Hootsuite. This adds an extra layer of security to your account. We send this code to your Hootsuite account email address.
We ask you to verify your login if you attempt to sign in to your account from a new location or IP address. We also ask if you have too many failed login attempts on the web or mobile version.
Verify your account
- When you get the Verify your account page, select Send to (your account email address), and we'll send you a code.
- Paste the code into the Verify Your Account page, and then select Submit.
If you don't get an email with the code, select Resend on the Verify Your Account page. If you are still having trouble, see Troubleshoot Hootsuite email issues for more help.
