Share stream content in the Hootsuite mobile app
Use the Hootsuite mobile app to share content from your streams to your own social accounts, or to other apps that support sharing, including your email.

Share content with other social networks
- Go to Streams.
- Select a stream.
- Select More on a post, and then select Share.
- Select the Plus icon , and choose the social accounts to share the post with.
- Edit the post, and then select Next.
- Select Publish now, Autoschedule, or Custom schedule to schedule the post for later.
- Go to Streams, and then select the post you want to share.
- Select More , and then Share. Any links will be shortened and inserted into your post.
- Select the Plus icon , then select a social account, and then select the back arrow in the top left.
- Enter or edit your message, and then select Next.
- Select Send now, Auto schedule, or Custom schedule to schedule the post for later.
Share stream content to other apps
- Go to Streams.
- Select a stream.
- Select More on a post. In YouTube streams, you’ll need to select the post in the stream again to view the engagement buttons below each post.
- Select Share to other apps.
- Select the app you want to share the post content to.
Images are only included when sharing posts, in the form of t.co Twitter shortened links.
- Go to Streams, and then select the post you want to share.
- Select More , and then select Share to other apps.
- Select the app to send the post content to. Some apps allow you to send posts directly to another user of that app. (Alternatively, copy the URL to your clipboard so you can paste it anywhere.)
Copy a YouTube video link to your clipboard
- In Streams , select the My Videos stream.
- Select a video, and then select More on the video.
- Select Copy link.
- Go to Streams and find a YouTube video (in a YouTube stream) you want to share the link for.
- Below the video, select More, and then select Copy link. The URL is copied to your clipboard and will be the next thing that you paste.
