Manage your content calendar in the Hootsuite mobile app

View and manage all of your published and scheduled social media content with the Hootsuite mobile app. You can double-check your scheduled posts in Plan before they get published, and easily make edits or delete scheduled posts as needed. You'll see a list of all scheduled posts for all of your social accounts. Select the Social accounts filter to narrow down the list.

The social accounts filter highlighted in Planner.

The scheduled content you see depends on the organization selected in your app settings (see Set preferences in the Hootsuite mobile app ).

You can also select the calendar view in the top right, and then select a date in the top-left corner to view published and scheduled posts by day. Swipe left or right to view the previous or next day’s posts. Select a post to view it in full, and to see who published or scheduled it.

Select an empty time slot in your day, and then select Create a new post to easily compose new content right from your content calendar.

Note: All posts that were published immediately (not scheduled) are visible in your content calendar after March 17, 2022.

Edit a scheduled post

  1. Select Plan.
  2. Locate the post in the list or calendar view, and then select to open it.
  3. Select Edit.
  4. Make changes to the post, and then select Save in the top right.

Instagram reels cannot currently be edited in the mobile app. Edit your reels in the web version of Hootsuite.

Duplicate a scheduled post

Duplicate a post to quickly recreate it for different teams and social accounts.

  1. Select Plan.
  2. Locate the post in the list or calendar view, and then select to open it.
  3. Select Duplicate.
  4. Make changes to the post, and then select Save in the top right.
Tip:
  • It's best practice to edit duplicate posts so they are unique. Social networks have strict publishing rules and often flag identical content as spam, especially if published within a short period.
  • Tracking parameters on links also get duplicated, unless they are dynamic, so make sure to update these when duplicating posts.

Delete a scheduled post

Deleted posts cannot be retrieved.

  1. Select Plan.
  2. Locate the post in the list or calendar view, and then select to open it.
  3. Select More (3 dots) in the top right, and then select Delete.
  4. Select Delete again to confirm.
