Add or remove subusers from your Ads account

As a main user, you can add subusers to your Legacy Hootsuite Ads account to help you manage your Facebook ads.

When you add a subuser to Legacy Hootsuite Ads, you create an account for them. They receive an email invitation to create their own login credentials. They can use their Legacy Hootsuite Ads account to help manage your ad accounts. You can use permissions to control the level of access that users have for each ad account.

Note:Legacy Hootsuite Ads main users and subusers cannot share Google Ads ad accounts. Each Legacy Hootsuite Ads user (including subusers) can connect and manage the Google ad accounts that they have access to through their own Google account.

  2. Select the Users management tab, and then select Add New User.
