Share company content in the Hootsuite mobile app

Use Parliament (formerly Amplify) in the Hootsuite mobile app to share pre-approved content to your social profiles on the go. As an advocate, you can find posts and share them with your network, suggest content to share, and track your rank on the leaderboard directly from your mobile device.

Note: Parliament admins must use the web version of Hootsuite to manage the advocacy program.

This article describes the new Social OS experience. If you haven't switched yet, select the Classic tab for instructions. Learn more about the Social OS experience.

Find and share company content

You can share posts from your subscribed feed or directly from topics you haven't joined yet.

Go to Parliament.
Select Search and enter one or more keywords to find specific content.
(Optional) Select Filter, select your criteria from the following options, and then select Apply:
- Shareable networks (social networks approved by your admin)
- Media type
- Share history (shared or not yet shared posts)
- Personalization (posts you can customize)
- Language
Select the post you want to share and then select Share.
Select a social profile. In the mobile app, you can only share to one social account at a time.
Choose when you want to share the post:
- Share now: Publish the post immediately to your selected profile.
- Auto schedule: Automatically schedule the post for an optimal time.
- Custom schedule: Select a specific date and time to publish the post.
  Tip: If your admin has enabled customization for the post, select Personalize post to add your own comment to the caption before sharing or scheduling.

Go to Amplify.
Select Search and enter one or more keywords to find specific content.

Explore and manage topic subscriptions

Explore and subscribe to topics that interest you to customize the content you see in your Amplify feed. You can browse content in the topics you already follow, or find and share content from topics you haven't subscribed to yet.

Go to Parliament and select Explore topics.
Select the Subscribed tab to see a list of the topics you already follow.
(Optional) Select the Discover others tab to find new topics and content you are not yet subscribed to.
Tip: Select the More arrow on a topic to see its individual posts. You can share posts directly from this view even if you choose not to remain subscribed.
Select Subscribe for each topic you want to follow.
To unsubscribe to a topic, go to the Subscribed tab and select Subscribed to unselect any topics that are no longer relevant.

Go to Amplify and select Explore topics.
Select the Subscribed tab to see a list of the topics you already follow.
(Optional) Select the Discover others tab to find new topics and content you are not yet subscribed to.
Tip: Select the More arrow on a topic to see its individual posts. You can share posts directly from this view even if you choose not to remain subscribed.
Select Subscribe for each topic you want to follow.
To unsubscribe to a topic, go to the Subscribed tab and select Subscribed to unselect any topics that are no longer relevant.

Suggest a post

Send suggestions for relevant content or interesting links to share directly to your advocacy program admins. You can suggest text, a link, or both.

Go to Parliament and then select Suggest post.
Enter your suggested content.
Note: You can only suggest text and links in the mobile app. Images and other media are not supported.
Select Send.

Go to Amplify and then select Suggest post.

Track your progress on the leaderboard

Track your social sharing impact over a rolling 30-day period directly in your feed. Use the leaderboard to see how you rank against other advocates in your organization.

You earn points by sharing content and reaching your audience. The leaderboard shows your current rank and point total, as well as a ranked list of the top performers in your organization.

Note: Your Parliament admin can customize point values for different events. If they update these values, your point total refreshes immediately to reflect the new system.

Go to Parliament and then select View leaderboard to see a ranked list of the top performing advocates and your own score.
Note: If you have zero points or are ranked above 100, a rank will not appear next to your profile picture.
Review your personal performance and ranking details:
- Personal metrics: Your total shares, reactions, comments, and reshares
- Performance by social account: Your views, reach, and engagement for each connected account
Note: Reach metrics are not available for X. Additionally, the leaderboard does not support Facebook profile data.
If your admin has enabled it, select How do points work? to see exactly how to earn points for your activities.

Go to Amplify and then select View leaderboard to see a ranked list of the top performing advocates and your own score.
