LLM Insights in Hootsuite

LLM Insights provides a structured way to monitor how Large Language Models (LLMs) like OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity represent your brand, competitors, or industry trends. By running automated prompts across these models, the system collects and analyzes their responses so you can understand the AI-driven narratives influencing customer perception.

You can analyze sentiment, entities, and themes, the same way you would with other social listening data.

This article describes the new Social OS experience. If you haven't switched yet, select the Classic tab for instructions. Learn more about the Social OS experience.

Access and set up LLM Insights

Use LLM Insights channels to monitor how leading AI models respond to specific topics, trends, or market entities.

Go to Lumen, and then select LLM Insights.
On the Lumen by Talkwalker home page, select Settings and then select LLM Channels.
Select New channel.
Enter a name for your channel and an optional description.
Select the LLM models that you want to monitor, and then select Add prompts.
Define the prompts you want teh AI models to respond to:
- Use a template: Select a use case, enter your search terms, and then select Generate prompts.
- Enter your own prompt: Select Custom prompts, select Edit prompton an empty row, enter your prompt, and then select Save changes.
Review and refine your prompts. Point to a prompt and take any of the following actions:
- Preview response: View a sample response to the prompt.
- Edit prompt: Modify the prompt.
- Delete prompt: Remove the prompt from your list.
If you're using a template and want to generate a different list of prompts, select Regenerate prompts.
When you're satisfied with your prompts, select Add to channel.
Select Create to finish setting up your LLM Insights channel.

Go to More, and then select LLM Insights.
On the Lumen by Talkwalker home page, select Settings and then select LLM Channels.

Once you have set up your channels, you can monitor how AI models are responding to your prompts and analyze the results like any other social listening data.

On the Lumen by Talkwalker home page, select LLM Insights, and then select a channel from the list to view its data.
(Optional) Select a time frame to adjust the date range of your results.
Select any of the following tabs to dive deeper into the data cited in AI model responses:
- Brands - Companies or competitors mentioned by the AI models.
- Celebrities - Key figures and influencers associated with your topic.
- Events - Specific occurrences, holidays, or campaigns being referenced.
- Themes - Core topics and subjects synthesized by the models.
- Sentiment - Categorization of the data as positive, negative, or neutral.
(Optional) Select Filters and select filters to further narrow your results.

Go to More, and then select LLM Insights. You will land directly in the LLM Insights dashboard.
On the Lumen by Talkwalker home page, select LLM Insights, and then select a channel from the list to view its data.

Select any of the following tabs to dive deeper into the data cited in AI model responses:
