LinkedIn metrics in Impact
LinkedIn metrics help you figure out how you're doing on LinkedIn. This article goes over the LinkedIn metrics available in Impact. Use CTRL+F (CMD +F on Mac) to search content in this article.
Metric name | Description |
---|---|
Page clicks | The number of clicks on all your posts |
Page comments | The total number of comments received on your Pages' posts |
Page total followers | The total number of people who followed your Pages since they was created, including from paid promotion. Does not include people who have unfollowed your Pages |
Page impressions | The total number of times any content from your Pages or about your Pages appeared on someone's screen |
Page reactions | The total number of likes, comments, and shares received your posts |
Page paid new followers | The number of new people who followed your Pages from paid promotion (such as an ad or a sponsored post) since they were created |
New followers deprecated | The total number of new people who followed your Page during the selected timeframe. Includes followers gained from both organic and paid activity |
Page new followers | The total number of new people who followed your Pages during the selected date range, including from paid promotion |
Page number of updates | The total number of posts published by your Pages |
Page post shares | The total number of shares of your posts |
Page time watched | The time people spent viewing your Pages' videos, in milliseconds |
Page time watched for video views | The time people spent viewing your Page's videos, measured in milliseconds, for views of at least three seconds |
Page video views | The number of times your Pages' videos were viewed for at least three seconds |
Page video viewers | The number of people who viewed your Pages' videos for at least three seconds |
Post clicks | The number of clicks on your content, company name, or logo by a signed in member. Does not count interactions such as shares, reactions, and comments |
Post comments | The total number of comments on your Pages' posts in the selected time frame. Does not include comments received after a post was sponsored |
Post impressions | The number of times your posts appeared on someone's screen |
Post reactions | The total number of likes and reactions received by your posts |
Post shares | The number of times people shared your posts |
Post time watched | The time people spent viewing your videos, in milliseconds |
Post time watched for video views | The time people spent viewing your videos, measured in milliseconds, for views of at least three seconds |
Post video views | The number of times your videos were viewed for at least three seconds |
Post video viewers | The number of people who viewed your videos for at least three seconds |
Page comment mentions | The number of times mentions of your Pages appeared in a comment on LinkedIn |
Page share mentions | The number of times mentions of your Pages appeared in a post shared on LinkedIn |
Page unique impressions | The number of unique users who have seen a post from your Pages |
Post unique impressions | The number of unique users who have seen your posts |
Page engagement rate | The number of clicks, likes, comments, and shares on your Pages’ posts divided by the number of people who saw them |
Post engagement rate | The number of clicks, likes, comments, and shares on your posts divided by the number of people who saw them |
