View, edit, and delete your saved searches in Insights

You can view and manage your saved searches in Insights.

View a saved search

  1. Go to Insights , and then select Saved Searches to view the list of searches saved by your organization.
    saved searches tab

Note: Hover over the question mark at the top to see how many of your organization’s allotted searches have been used so far. For more information, see Saved search limits in Insights.

  2. Select a saved search to display its metrics and mentions.

Note that mentions and metrics in saved searches are backfilled until the first day of the previous month, and are stored for 13 months.

Edit a saved search

  1. Go to Insights , and then select Saved Searches to view the list of searches saved by your organization.
  2. Select the three dots to the right of a saved search, and then select Manage Search.
    manage search option
  3. Select Edit Search. Make your changes to the search query, and then press ENTER to view the new results as an initial quick search.
  4. After reviewing the new results, you can take one of two actions:
    • Select Exit Edit Mode on the top right to undo the changes.
    • Select Save Changes to permanently update the saved search.

Important: Editing a search’s query cannot be undone. It essentially creates a completely new search, and any customizations of attributes (such as sentiment or language) on existing mentions are lost. Tags are preserved when a search is edited. Always test new queries with a quick search until you’re satisfied with the results, and then make your edits to a saved search.

Delete a saved search

You can delete a search if you no longer need it or if you need to make room for a new saved search (see Saved search limits in Insights).

Note: Deleting a search also deletes existing mention annotations (such as sentiment, emotion, location, tags, etc.). Deleting a saved search cannot be undone.

  1. Go to Insights , and then select Saved Searches to view the list of searches saved by your organization.
  2. Select the three dots to the right of a saved search, select Delete, and then select Delete again to confirm.
