Change the name on your Academy certification
If you need to update the official name on your certificate before sharing your new credentials, complete the following steps.
- Sign in to www.credential.net. If this is your first time using credential.net, click Sign Up. Use the email address your certificate was sent to, and create a password for yourself.
- Select the certification to open it.
- Click More below your certificate, and then select Request a Name Change. If this option is greyed out, check that you are signed in at the top of the page.
- Enter the new name for the credential in both fields, and then click Submit Request.
Allow up to 48 hours for the name change request to be reviewed and reflected on your certificate.
Note: If you need to update the email address attached to your credential, please reach out to our support team. Only the certificate issuer can change the email address.
