Compare Quick Search results

Compare Quick Search results to see how different themes or brands stack up in online conversations, and where those conversations are happening. You can apply filters to each set of search results individually, or to all search results.

With Listening Basics you can compare two Quick Searches. For Advanced and Enterprise plans with Listening Basics, you can compare up to five Quick Searches.

With Listening (powered by Talkwalker), you can compare up to five Quick Searches.

1. Go to Listening, enter your search term in the Quick Search field, then press ENTER.
2. Enter another search term in the Compare field, then press ENTER.

   Listening automatically updates each widget to show a total aggregate result for the results of both searches, and a comparison of results for each search.
   

3. To add another Quick Search for comparison, enter a search term in the next available Compare field, then press ENTER.
4. If you want to apply filters to results of a specific Quick Search, select More in the search field, then select Apply filters. You can filter the results by media type, country or region, and language.
5. Optionally, apply filters to all Quick Search results. See Filter and customize your search results for more information.
6. If you want to suppress the results of a specific Quick Search, select More in the search field, then select Mute.
7. If you want to show only the results of a specific Quick Search, select More in the search field, then select Mute others.
8. If you want to remove the results of a specific Quick Search, select More in the search field, then select Remove.
9. If you want to download your Quick Search results comparison, select Download report, then select your report format (PDF or Powerpoint).

   Hootsuite generates the reports and prompts you to download it when it is ready.
