Manage stream folders (Legacy)

  

The legacy system is being retired. Have you seen our Overview of Streams article? It covers the updated process.

Organize the streams in your account with folders. Insights creates one default folder for each of the stream types: Company, Competitors, Market Terms, Social Accounts and Saved Searches. These can’t be deleted. You can add additional folders for each stream type if you want additional organization structure.

Add a new folder

  1. Hover your mouse over the side navigation menu, and then click Settings settings at the bottom of the menu.
  2. Select Streams & Folders from the list on the left.
  3. Click +Add Folder, and then select a folder type.
  4. Enter a folder name, and then click Save Folder.

Change the name or type of any folder you create by hovering over it and clicking Edit.

Delete a folder

  1. Hover your mouse over the side navigation menu, and then click Settings settings at the bottom of the menu.
  2. Select Streams & Folders from the list on the left.
  3. Hover your mouse over the folder, and then click Delete.
  4. Click Yes, delete.

Important: Deleting a folder will also delete all the streams within it.

Move a stream

  1. Hover your mouse over the side navigation menu, and then click Settings settings at the bottom of the menu.
  2. Select Streams & Folders from the list on the left.
  3. Hover your mouse over the stream you want to move, and then click Edit.
  4. Click the Final details tab, select a new folder for the stream, and then click Save.
