Facebook apps can display differently depending on the type of device from which they are viewed. To ensure your campaign Facebook app always displays as it was designed to, we highly recommend checking the Redirect Desktop Users to Facebook box.
This changes the default campaign link to the microsite URL, which is mobile responsive and can detect the type of device a user is on. If the user is on a desktop computer, they will be redirected to view the campaign in Facebook, but this ensures that anyone on a mobile device will also view the campaign as intended.
If the box is not checked, all users, including mobile users, will be directed to the Facebook app, but this could result in different visual experiences for your users depending on their device.
To redirect desktop users to Facebook
- Within the Campaign Builder, click the Publish tab.
- Under Create A Facebook Tab, check the Redirect Desktop Users to Facebook box.
- Click Save Settings in the top-right corner of the page.
