Manage your social accounts - iOS

  

Connect any of the following social accounts to Hootsuite from your iOS mobile app. By connecting your social accounts you can manage them all from one place, on desktop and on the go.

Accounts that can be connected on iOS: Twitter profiles, Facebook profiles, Facebook Pages, Facebook groups (publishing only), Instagram personal and business profiles, Linkedin profiles, LinkedIn Pages, YouTube channels (streams only).

Your private social accounts, and those you have access to through an organization, will appear in your app's social network list.

Add a social account

  1. Select your profile picture to manage your account.
  2. Select Social Networks.
  3. Select the plus icon in the top right.
  4. Select a social account.
  5. Enter your social account credentials (username and password) and then sign in to authorize the connection.

Reconnect a social account

Hootsuite organization super admins, admins, and those with advanced social network permissions can reconnect a social account.

  1. Select your profile picture to manage your account.
  2. Select Social Networks. Disconnected accounts are listed at the top.
  3. Select Reconnect on a disconnected account. If you don't have the permissions to reconnect an account, the name of the last user who reconnected it is shown.

  4. Enter your social account credentials (username and password) and then sign in to authorize the connection.

Delete a social account

Deleting a social account will remove it and its streams from both your mobile app and web dashboards. Deleting a social account will also remove any scheduled content for that account.

  1. Select your profile picture to manage your account.
  2. Select Social Networks.
  3. Swipe left on the social account in the list, and then select Delete.

  4. Select Delete again to confirm.
