Change your monthly or annual payment plan

You can change your billing frequency to monthly or annually at any time. If you change from a monthly billing cycle to an annual one, the new annual plan begins on what would have been your next monthly billing date. You can change from an annual billing cycle to a monthly one when your annual commitment ends.

Subscription add-ons are invoiced and charged pro rata (from the sign up date until the end of your monthly or annual commitment).

Important: For annual billing cycles, note that on day 366 (the first day after your annual plan has ended), your account will auto-renew unless another option has been selected. Review your most recent invoice to confirm your next billing date and make any necessary changes before that date to avoid unwanted charges. For more information, see Hootsuite invoices

Switch to monthly or annual payments

  1. Sign in to Hootsuite.
  2. Go to My profile profile-icon.png, and then select Account settings, preferences, and billing.

  3. Select Modify or Upgrade Plan.
  4. Select a billing cycle.

  5. Select Save Changes.
