Downgrade your Hootsuite account or trial

Hootsuite Pro, Professional and Team monthly plans and trials can be downgraded at any time. Annually billed plans are a one-year commitment. While downgrade requests can be submitted, the downgrade will not take effect until the one-year term is complete.

Downgrading from Hootsuite Professional or Team

To downgrade from Hootsuite Professional or Team

  1. Select Settings Settings_icon.png from the launch menu.
  2. Click Modify or Upgrade Plan.
  3. Under Your Current Plan, click Change plan type.
  4. Click Downgrade under the plan type you want to downgrade to.

If your account is currently using any features not available to the plan type you are downgrading to, you will be prompted to remove them before downgrading. Review the features you will no longer have access to, and then click Manage to delete the feature. After deleting the feature, complete the downgrade process again, as above.

To ensure you keep the social profiles you want, and their scheduled content, remove the additional profiles before you downgrade.
