Mute other Twitter users to hide their tweets from your streams without unfollowing them. Muted users will not know you have muted them. You can unmute someone using Twitter.
Block users so that they can't follow, view, or interact with your account. Their tweets will no longer appear in your streams. You can not follow a blocked user. You can unblock someone using Twitter.
Report a Twitter account to Twitter if you think they are in violation of Twitter’s rules or terms of service. This does not remove their tweets from your streams.
Mute, block, or report someone
- Go to Streams , and then go to a Twitter stream.
- Select the user name or avatar, and then move to the bottom of their profile.
- Select to mute, block, or report the user, and then select OK.
