Edit or delete published content in Streams

  

You can edit content published to your own Facebook Pages and YouTube channels directly from Hootsuite streams, and you can delete content published to Twitter, Facebook Pages, and YouTube channels, which also deletes the content from the social network.

The steps in this article apply to:

  • Facebook Pages
  • YouTube channels
  • Twitter

For other social networks, select the timestamp on your post in the stream to open it directly in the social network in a new browser tab, and edit or delete from there.

To edit a Facebook Page post or comment

You can edit posts and comments from the My Posts and Timeline streams.

  1. Go to Streams streams-icon.png, and then select the board hosting the Facebook Page stream.
  2. Select More Actions more-actions.png below the post or comment, and then select Edit.
  3. Make your changes, and then press ENTER to save.

To edit a YouTube video

You can edit video titles, descriptions, tags, categories, and privacy settings at any time. If the video is Unlisted or Private, you can schedule it to go public; if it's currently scheduled, you can modify the scheduled date and time.

  1. Go to Streams streams-icon.png, and then select the board hosting the YouTube stream.
  2. Select More Actions more-actions.png below the video, and then select Edit.
  3. Make your modifications to the video, and then select Save in the top right.

To delete a tweet, Facebook Page post, or Facebook comment

You can delete published Tweets from the Twitter My Tweets stream, and you can delete posts and comments from the Facebook Page My Posts and Timeline streams.

  1. Go to Streams streams-icon.png, and then select the board hosting the stream.
  2. Select More Actions more-actions.png below the tweet, post, or comment, and then select Delete.
  3. Select Delete again to confirm.

To delete a YouTube video

You can delete your own YouTube videos from the My Videos stream or a Playlist stream.

  1. Go to Streams streams-icon.png, and then select the board hosting the YouTube stream.
  2. Select More Actions more-actions.png below the video, and then select Delete.
  3. Select Delete again to confirm.
