Managing Hootlet

Available to Hootsuite Free, Pro and Enterprise users, Hootlet offers the same user-friendly functions available in the dashboard's compose box but has the added benefit of preloading the title and URL of the web page you are visiting. This is an efficient way to share content with followers on any of your social networks.

AutoSchedule, a link-sharing tool that determines the optimal time to schedule content, can be used with Hootlet. This means you have the flexibility to send a message now, manually schedule content for later or automate your scheduling.

Hootlet is available as a Chrome Extension, Firefox Add-on and Safari or Internet Explorer Bookmarklet.

Note: Chrome users can find the Hootlet icon in the upper-right corner of the browser (image shown); Firefox and Safari users can find the word Hootlet listed in the upper-left corner of the browser.
