Add tags to track your outbound posts
Add tags to outgoing posts to help you track the success of your published content. You can add outbound tags when creating or editing a post, and then filter for them later in Analytics.
Tags are not publicly visible on your posts. They're a sort of internal filing system for your posts. For example, you can add tags to posts to sort them by product, campaign, or region. If your team plans to use tags, everyone should add all relevant tags to their posts, and do so consistently.
This article discusses adding tags to outgoing posts. For information on adding tags to inbound posts in streams, see Add tags to track inbound posts.

You must have super admin, admin, or custom organization permissions to ‘Manage Message Tags’ to create new tags and manage existing ones in the tag library. See also Manage tags.
