View social profiles in Streams
To learn more about someone, you can select their profile picture or username in a stream to see their social network profile information. Depending on the social network, a profile may include information like bio, location, description, website, and post history.
Note: Depending on a Twitter user’s settings, you do not usually have to be following them to view their profile.
View a user profile
- Go to Streams
, and then select the board hosting the stream.
- Select the user's avatar or username.
- If available: Select an available tab to view additional profile information.
In the Hootsuite mobile app you can select any Twitter user’s profile picture (avatar), including your own, in a Twitter stream to view their profile information. This includes their following and followers, lists, subscriptions, timeline, and posts they've liked.
To view user profiles for other social networks, select their profile picture (avatar) in a stream, and then select the direct link to open and view their profile in the social network.
Add and view notes in Twitter profiles (Enterprise users)
Enterprise users can also view their interaction history with other users, and leave internal notes on Twitter profiles. Users within the same organization can view notes that team members add to a user's profile.
- Go to Streams
, and then select the board hosting the Twitter stream.
- Select a Twitter username.
- On the Notes tab, select an organization. Any notes left about this user appear.
- Add your own note, and then select Save Note.
To delete a note, hover over it and then click the X.
