Manage Hootsuite mobile notifications

If you want to be notified when your Instagram posts are ready to go live, someone mentions your brand, or someone sends you a private message, you can turn on notifications in the Hootsuite app.

The following notifications are available in the Hootsuite mobile app:

X mentions and direct message notifications - To alert you when someone mentions or sends a direct message to your X profile.
Facebook Page post, comment, and reply notifications - To alert you to new posts, comments, or replies on your Facebook Page.
Approval notifications - To alert Advanced, Business, and Enterprise plan members, to posts that require approval, or have been rejected, approved, or expired.

When notifications are turned on, they will appear in Notifications . Notifications are kept for seven days. When you have new notifications, the Notifications icon shows a red dot .

You can also turn on push notifications for Instagram, X, and Require my approval notifications.

Important: To get notifications, you need to have notifications turned on in your device settings as well as within the Hootsuite app. See Set permissions for the Hootsuite mobile app for details.
