Manage scheduled content in a list view (Legacy)

You can view all your scheduled content in a list view by selecting Plan, and then selecting the Content tab.

Select Scheduled or Past Scheduled, to view currently scheduled or past scheduled content in list format. Hootsuite displays a maximum of 100 scheduled posts at once, so filter by social account to see all your content.

Edit scheduled content

Editing a scheduled post can include adding or removing social accounts used to publish, editing text and images, modifying the scheduled time or date; as well as modifying tags, location, or targeting.

Editing a scheduled YouTube video can include editing the title, description, tags, and category of the video, or changing the privacy setting or scheduled publish time or date. You cannot edit video details on scheduled Facebook posts (video title and category).

You must complete your edits to scheduled content at least 6 minutes before the initial scheduled time and date. For posts that contain video, you must complete your edits 15 minutes before the scheduled post time and date. If you don't save your edits, Hootsuite publishes the original post.

Tip: Remove the scheduling settings on a scheduled post to publish it right away.

You can delete scheduled posts individually or in groups. Deleted posts cannot be retrieved.

Edit a scheduled post

1. Go to Plan.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Select Scheduled from the list on the left.
4. Select the scheduled post, then Edit.
5. Modify the post, and then select Save edits.

When you edit a scheduled post in your content calendar in Plan, the changes will be applied to each social network publishing the post. However, when you edit a post from a Scheduled Stream for a specific social network, only the post being published to that social network will be changed.

Delete a single scheduled post

1. Go to Plan.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Select Scheduled from the list on the left.
4. Select the scheduled post, then Delete.
5. Select Delete post to confirm.

Delete multiple scheduled posts

1. Go to Plan.
2. Select the Content tab.
3. Select Scheduled from the list on the left.
4. Select the box beside each post you want to delete, or select all with the box at the top of the list, and then select Delete .
5. Select Delete Selected.
