Install or uninstall apps

Extend Hootsuite’s functionality and create a more customized experience by connecting to the other business tools you already use. The Hootsuite Apps library has over 150 partner apps and integrations that can be added to Hootsuite.

Note: All premium apps are billed on a monthly cycle. See Paid (premium) app billing.

Install apps

Search for and install apps.

Important: If adding the WordPress app, the WordPress.org site must be XML-RPC enabled.

  1. Go to More, and then select App library.
  2. Search or select a category to find your app, select your app, and then select Install.

Uninstall apps

Uninstalling an app removes that app's content from Hootsuite. If the app is a premium app, this will also cancel the monthly billing for the app.

Important: Avoid unwanted charges by canceling unwanted apps at least two days before your billing date.

  1. Go to More, and then select App library.
  2. In the My installed apps section, select an installed app, and then select Uninstall.

Can I sign in to an app with more than one account?

This depends on the app type. Most apps with app streams allow you to connect multiple accounts to separate Hootsuite streams. Most plugin and content source apps only allow you to connect to one account at a time.

Does Hootsuite Apps support secure mode?

Hootsuite Apps does support secure mode. Some apps may require an update.
