Display ads in Messenger

This placement can be selected to display ads in users' Home tab in Messenger. Your sponsored ad will display amongst their contacts. With over a billion people globally interacting on Messenger every day, these ads have become crucial in every advertising strategy.

When a user taps on an ad that appears in their Messenger Home tab, they will be directed to either a website or app. You can determine the link during campaign creation. Videos are not supported for this placement.

Messenger Home placement is available with the following campaign types:

  • External Website
  • Lead Generation
  • Dynamic Product Ad
  • Brand Awareness
  • Local Awareness
  • Mobile App Install
  • Mobile App Engagement

On the Ads Design step (2) of campaign creation, select Messenger Home as an ad placement:
