Review your post performance at a glance without having to build a report! The new Post Performance report displays key metrics for up to 100 of your most recently published posts on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This feature is available to all Team, Business and Enterprise customers, and to Pro customers who have purchased the Reports upgrade.
The Post Performance table displays the timestamp, thumbnail image, caption, author, outbound tags, and performance metrics for each post. Note authors will only display for posts published through Hootsuite. Click the timestamp on a post to open it natively. The default metrics displayed depend on the social network:
- Facebook: reactions, shares, comments, video views, reach, engaged users, engagement rate
- Twitter: likes, replies, retweets
- Instagram: likes, comments
- LinkedIn: likes, comments, shares, impressions, clicks, engagement rate
Select Analytics from the launch menu and then open the left-hand panel to find the Post Performance table.
Select a social network with the icons in the top-left corner, and then click the drop-down arrow to select the profiles included in the table.
The table displays posts published during the selected time frame. To change the time frame, click the date range in the top-right corner, select a new one, and then click Set.
To configure the metrics to view for each social network, click Edit Columns , select the metrics, and then click Apply.
Find the top-performing posts by metric by sorting each column. Click the arrows at the top of any column to sort posts in ascending or descending order.
Sorting by metric doesn't just sort the most recent 100 posts. If more than 100 were published during the selected timeframe, sorting will display the top 100 of all published posts.
To filter the posts by tag or campaign, click Apply Filters in the top-right corner, select the filters, and then click Apply.
Business and Enterprise plan customers can export the post performance table by clicking Export as in the top-right corner, and then selecting the export format from XSLX or CSV.
Metrics on posts published in the last 31 days will continue to refresh.
Post data for Post Performance is available from Oct 2, 2017.
