Add or remove Facebook ad accounts in Ads

  

Only Hootsuite Ads account owners can add or remove Facebook ad accounts from Hootsuite Ads. Sub-users cannot.

Note: If you're connecting to Facebook for the first time, see Connect your Facebook account to Ads.

Add a new Facebook ad account

  1. In Hootsuite, go to My other products , and then select Go to Ads.
  2. On the Facebook Ad Accounts tab, select Add New Facebook Ad Accounts. All ad accounts associated with the connected Facebook user appear on this page.
  3. Select the check box next to the ad account, and then select Add.

If you don't the ad account you’re looking for, try the following:

  1. Log out of all your Facebook accounts.
  2. Log out of Hootsuite Ads (select Logout in the top right).
  3. Log back in to Hootsuite Ads, go back to the Facebook Ad Accounts page, and try to add the account.

Make sure to sign in with the Facebook credentials (business or personal) that has access to the specific ad account you want to add.

Remove a Facebook ad account

  1. In Hootsuite, go to My other products , and then select Go to Ads.
  2. On the Facebook Ad Accounts tab, select Delete on the account you want to delete.

The ad account and all associated data is removed from Hootsuite Ads, but this does not remove any data from Facebook. All your campaigns and custom audiences will still be available in Facebook Ads Manager.
