Before cancelling your account, ensure any overdue balances are settled by updating your billing information. Accounts with overdue balances will be suspended after 15 days and cannot be cancelled until the balance is settled.
You will also be prompted to leave any organizations the account belongs to, and/or delete any organizations created within the account before cancelling can continue.
Avoid unwanted charges by cancelling your account five business days before your next billing date.
Hootsuite Enterprise users must contact their Customer Success Manager to close their Hootsuite account.
Hootsuite Pro users on annual billing should note that your plan is a one-year commitment. While cancellation requests can be submitted, your plan cannot be downgraded or cancelled until the 12-month term is complete.
