Transfer Hootsuite Account Ownership

Transferring account ownership removes account ownership from your current Hootsuite dashboard manager to the new manager. This is an important process because it provides your new Hootsuite dashboard manager with complete Hootsuite account access.

A two-stage process, transferring account ownership requires 1) Updating billing information (if applicable); and 2) Updating the Hootsuite user profile (may include password update).

To transfer Hootsuite account ownership

  1. Update Hootsuite billing information (if applicable). 
  2. Update the Hootsuite user profile.
